One of a series of original lithographs depicting various balloon expeditions. Since the invention of balloons, the public soon became blase at the sight of a simple ballon ascent and aerial showmen tried to find ways to make it interesting, some by doing animal ascents. This lithograph shows a Frenchman Margat astride his white stag "Coco" who ascended from the Tivoli Gardens in Paris on 5 June 1817.
The lithograph is framed in a Candy Pink Bobbin Frame measuring 30cm x 41 cm.
